1 Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Shine Steer, operated by Syty Infotech.

By using the Platform, creating an account, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2 Definitions

• "Platform" — the Shine Steer mobile application and website.
• "Services" — car wash, detailing, polishing, interior cleaning, care plans, and related services.
• "Service Partner" — an independent professional who performs the Services.
• "Booking" — a confirmed request for Services placed through the Platform.
• "Payment Gateway" — PhonePe, our authorised payment processor.

3 Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4 Our services

Shine Steer is a technology platform that connects users with Service Partners who provide car-care services. We facilitate discovery, booking, scheduling, and payment for these Services.

Service availability, scope, and pricing may vary by location and may change without prior notice.

5 Bookings & scheduling

• A Booking is confirmed only after you complete the required steps and receive a confirmation.
• You must provide accurate vehicle details, a valid service address, and safe access to the vehicle at the scheduled time.
• If the vehicle is unavailable or inaccessible, the Booking may be treated as completed or cancelled per our Refund Policy.
• We may reassign Service Partners or reschedule a Booking due to weather or operational reasons, with notice to you.

6 Pricing & payments

Prices are displayed in the app and are inclusive of applicable taxes. You agree to pay the total amount shown at checkout.

• We accept UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, and others as enabled by PhonePe.
• If a payment fails or is declined, your Booking may not be confirmed.
• Any extra charges agreed during service will be billed transparently.

7 Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Eligible refunds are credited back to your original payment method through PhonePe.

8 Your responsibilities

• Use the Platform lawfully and only for genuine bookings.
• Remove valuables from the vehicle before service; Shine Steer is not responsible for items left inside.
• Disclose any pre-existing damage or special care requirements for your vehicle.
• Treat Service Partners with respect and provide a safe working environment.
• Not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorised access, or infringe others' rights.

9 Service partners

Service Partners are independent contractors, not employees of Shine Steer. While we screen partners and set quality standards, Shine Steer acts as an intermediary. Any service-quality concern should be raised through the app.

10 Intellectual property

The Platform, including its name, logo, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to Shine Steer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our prior written consent. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shine Steer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Booking giving rise to the claim.

The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shine Steer, its officers, employees, and Service Partners from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.

13 Termination

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent behaviour. Provisions relating to liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.

14 Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing other remedies.

15 Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
